This is an alternative to removing and swapping out the barrel of a gun like the 22 caliber or 17 HMR that have been handed down in your family for a few generations. With this method of retaining the original barrel it does allow the firearm to maintain the function ability of the airloom allowing your grandchild the chance to shoot and enjoy the exact same tool that your grandpa or family member used in eras gone by.

Description

The process of relining / resleeving involved the disassembly of the firearm, removal of the barrel and centering up in the 4 jaw chuck on the metal lathe. With the proper drilling equipment all of the internal riflings are remove and once the proper hole I.D. is achieved then the barrel sleeve is installed and rechambered for the right caliber and after all necessary processes are completed the the rifle is re-assembled and tested for accuracy. We do not carry any of the barrels sleeves instock. These are ordered as needed
